I am a daughter of this city. I was born in the heat, raised in the humidity, and molded by the culture. Growing up here, you learn early on that beauty in the South is different. It isn’t just about vanity; it’s about resilience. It’s about the strength to rebuild, the grace to flow like the river, and the audacity to shine even when the lights go out. I wanted to build a brand that reflects that same spirit. A brand that feels like home.
For me, skincare has always been a ritual, a moment to slow down, breathe, and pour back into myself. But ADDictive wasn’t created in a boardroom; it was inspired by the front porch. After years of crafting formulas, studying ingredients, and perfecting blends that nourish the skin without compromise, I knew it was time to share what I’d been creating behind the scenes.
This is my love letter to the city that raised me.
It only felt right to introduce this brand during the season that defines who we are, Carnival season. Mardi Gras isn’t just a celebration; it’s a reminder of our heritage, our joy, and our ability to shine no matter what. The Carnival Collection honors the traditions that raised me, purple for justice, green for faith, gold for power, while the NOLA Noir series captures the deep, mysterious soul of our nights.
